Onam : Compliments and Chaos 🌺✨
The day started on such a beautiful note. I wore a half sari in pink and goldish (sandal gold) and as soon as I entered class, everyone started complimenting me. Like literally, every girl told me I looked so pretty and beautiful. I was blushing nonstop, but it made me feel so energetic, confident, and loved right from the morning. 💕
After our fourth hour, since we didn’t have the fifth hour, we all went to take photos department-wise. All the juniors and seniors came together for one big group photo, and then we also took class-wise pictures. It was so fun, just that feeling of being together as a department made everything feel special.
By 12:30, the Onam celebrations began. And guess what? Our English department was the only team that decided to dance! We were super excited, but of course, technical issues had to pop up. The song got stuck, the speaker kept troubling, and we had to pause and restart a couple times. It was a little clumsy, but honestly? We didn’t care, we just gave it our best. And in the end, we lit the stage on fire 🔥. Everyone was cheering, and it felt so good to just dance our hearts out.
Even with the speaker messing up, I think that’s what made it more memorable. It wasn’t perfect, but it was ours. And honestly, today’s celebration is going to stay with me for a long time. 🌸✨
