Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 – My Reaction One Week Later
Heyyyy lovess🖤,
It’s been a week since Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 dropped and I swear I’m still living inside Nevermore in my head. The whole thing felt like a gothic fever dream but with better eyeliner and sharper one-liners. First of all, Morticia🥀 -queen of haunting grace. Every single time she appeared I literally sat up straighter, like yes ma’am, teach me how to own a room without even blinking.
And then came the chaos of Wednesday and Enid body-swapping. That had me cackling because watching those two completely flop in each other’s lives was hilarious but also kinda cute, it just proved how much they balance each other. Speaking of balance, the Lady Gaga cameo was everything. When she popped up, I screamed, no shame. And the Enid and Agnes dance to Bloody Mary? Iconic. The fact that they didn’t even know the song because it hadn’t released yet and still managed to vibe perfectly to the beat—like, who else could pull that off?
Tyler though… 🤌🏻✨. The way he ignored Agnes just to protect Wednesday when she was buried alive? That is love, period. And then the tower scene destroyed me. Him lying there saying “kill me” and Wednesday, in her ice-queen way, whispering “I missed”. That’s not just a line, that’s an earthquake. Their love is messy, twisted, but it’s still there, smoldering under all that chaos, and honestly I’m rooting for it.
Thing and Isaac’s night scenes deserve their own applause. The cinematography was so moody and deliciously perfect that I had literal goosebumps. The way they showed the transition of Issac 'NIGHT' into 'THING'. Also how his own hand betrayed him and fought with him , it's quite funny tbh.
But let’s get to the part that still has me pacing: Ophelia. Morticia’s long-lost sister, the raven psychic gone rogue, locked away for decades and finally revealed scribbling "Wednesday must die" on the walls like some cursed gothic oracle. That ending was straight out of my nightmares and I loved every second of it. And the gag of the season? We still don’t know who’s playing her. Officially, Lady Gaga is listed as Rosaline Rotwood, but something about it feels like misdirection. The way the show teased Ophelia, the way Gaga’s presence looms larger than life, it’s giving secret identity vibes. If she really is Ophelia, I will simply combust. But it's just me being in delulu even thought I know that's not gonna happen.
So yeah, after a week I’m still not over the body swaps, the dance scenes, the heartbreak, the love tensions, and the cliffhanger that slapped me in the face. Season 2 Part 2 wasn’t just a binge, it was an experience. And now I’m impatiently waiting for Season 3 because Wednesday Addams has me wrapped around her perfectly manicured little finger.
